I used to make 8–10 mockups for every listing and by the third one I was already questioning my life choices. Now I drop in the designs, pick the scenes, go make coffee. Huge time saver for my Etsy shop.
The first batch wasnt perfect — one design needed a little nudging and I had to figure out which template looked best. But once I got it, it replaced a very boring 2 hour task with maybe 10 minutes. I’ll take that any day.
Honestly I expected another tool I would use twice and forget about. MockupBee stuck because the bulk upload actually makes sense. I can prep a whole launch while my toddler is having a snack (sometimes).
Game changer, genuinely. I used to open Photoshop for every batch and keep a plugin around just for mockups. Now I upload, click, and I’m done — no Photoshop, no plugin, no Sunday lost.
My Saturday is mine again.
The custom PSD upload is the reason I stayed. I already had a look for my brand and did not want generic mockups. Took me a minute to get the file set up, then it worked exactly how I hoped.
Very handy and much less intimidating than Photoshop. My one wish: folders or saved sets for templates would be amazing, because I keep scrolling past the same three favorites. Still using it every week.
I can send client previews the same afternoon instead of saying “I’ll have those tomorrow.” That alone has made me look way more organised than I actually am.
No Photoshop is honestly the big thing for me. My laptop fan used to sound like it was preparing for takeoff. Upload, click, download. Much nicer.
I was specifically trying to stop paying for Photoshop just to make product images. MockupBee does the job in the browser and my exports look consistent. A couple of big batches took longer than expected, but still way faster than me doing it.
I made a dumb mistake and uploaded the wrong designs, caught it after starting, and support helped me sort it out. The actual mockups are lovely. My own organisation is the weak link here.
The designs are not always centered the way I want, especially with odd proportions. I would love a little more manual positioning control. For standard posters though, it is miles quicker than doing each one myself.
The preview saves me from downloading the wrong crop. Love that.
My VA learned it in one afternoon. That was the real test. Now she prepares the mockups and I can spend time on new designs instead of exporting files and naming them final-final-2.
I don’t even like writing reviews, but this saved me from renewing Photoshop just for Smart Objects. No plugin setup either. The first upload felt a little clunky, after that it was smooth sailing.
I literally yelled “why did nobody tell me about this” when the first batch finished. I had 42 designs ready for a drop and they all looked like they belonged to the same shop. So good.
No plugin. No drama. I can make mockups from my laptop on the train.
I was paying for a different mockup service and still doing half the work manually. Switched over, uploaded my own PSDs, and the difference in time is honestly ridiculous.
For an agency with lots of small POD clients, batching changes the margins completely. We can do the boring production work quickly and still give every client a custom look.
There was a little learning curve with my first PSD, mostly because I had built it in a messy way. Once I cleaned that up, MockupBee handled the repetitive part beautifully.
I wish there were more hoodie scenes in the library, especially relaxed fit ones. The generator itself is solid and I use it for every new design, but I am always hungry for more lifestyle options.
The download naming confused me for about five minutes, then I realised I was making it harder than it was. Once sorted, it is easy to keep 100+ images from turning into total chaos.
I tried three different ways to automate my PSDs before this. This is the first one that did not make me rebuild my whole workflow or install another plugin. Upload my file, choose designs, done.
Not a magic button — you still need to choose good scenes and check the results — but it removes the worst part of selling prints online. I can live with that, happily.
Simple, fast, done. My listings finally look consistent.
Saved me from outsourcing a job I really should have been able to do myself. The product photos look much more professional now, and I can update old listings without a whole production day.
The best part is not having to open Photoshop for one tiny change. I can test a new design against five scenes, pick the strongest one, and get back to the part of the business I actually enjoy.
Absolute gamechanger for our little two-person team. We launched 18 new products in a week and nobody had to stay up late making mockups. That is a win in my book.
Support answered my question quickly and did not send me a copy-paste article, which I appreciate. I was missing one setting. After that, the output was exactly what I needed.
I honestly dont know how I used to do this manually. The little bee has paid for itself in time saved already. My only request is a quicker way to reuse the same template group next week.
I came from Placeit and wanted something that felt more like my brand. Being able to use my own mockups was the clincher. It is not flashy, just useful — which is exactly what I needed.
